Venue

The keynote talks on Friday evening and the workshop on Saturday will take place in the Dorint hotel which is located next to the main hospital building (Martinistr. 52).

The half-day course on Friday afternoon will take place in the Department of Legal Medicine (address: Butenfeld 34). It is a five-minute walk from the Dorint hotel.

Getting There

From the Airport

The international airport of Hamburg is located 5 km away from the venue. You can take a taxi or the subway “S-Bahn” to the station “Rübenkamp” and continue with bus No. 20 to “Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf” (main entrance).

There is a small airport “Hamburg-Lübeck” which has connections to some European cities. It takes an additional one-hour drive with a commuter bus to Hamburg main station (see next section).

By Train

From the main station, take subway “U1” to “Kellinghusenstraße” and continue with bus No. 25 (destination “Altona”) to “Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf” (main entrance).

There are options to use the train stations “Dammtor” and “Altona” and to continue with the bus. You will find assistance on the website of Hamburg Public Bus.

By Car

You will find the Dorint hotel next to the main entrance of the University Medical Center (UKE) in Martinistraße 52.

Early in the day there are parking possibilities in “Breitenfelder Straße” (two blocks away) at no cost. There is a pay-by-the-hour garage on the UKE grounds and a garage in front of the Dorint hotel (20 Euros per day).

The Dorint Hotel (telephone: +49-40-570150-0) offers single rooms at 119 Euros per night (provide keyword “Neurolaryngology” during booking) and double rooms at 149 Euros per night (only until October 11!). Consider the discount rates for early booking.
